Doesn't sound like anything spectacular. Too bad all my Albertson's were replaced with Food Pyramid.

They have Major Dundee for $5 and I haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully it will ring up at $3.33 without buying two others.

My local Albertsons has a bin with 3.99, 4.99, and 5.99 titles in it. They had this sale about 6 weeks ago at this location -- I got Innerspace, Get Shorty (2 disc SE), and When Harry Met Sally for $10.

Hopefully they restocked -- the selection at my store is bad, bad, bad.

All the Albertson's here converted to Save Mart stores almost 2 years ago.

I went into my local Albertson's "superstore" in western Washington. They haven't heard a word about the sale & aren't honoring it; so I assume it's state specific.

My Alby's had a ton of restock, but little I would have even picked up at $3.33.

went to the big Albertsons in my area..did not buy any dvds..very small selection at that..but bought a lot of groceries at great sales prices during the 8 hour sale.
24 bottles of Arrowhead water for $2.99, some Post cereals 2 for $3
and some other good stuff...so "was worth it" to check out sale.

They pulled all their $5 titles from the floor (no Major Dundee). It was only select sony stuff that has already been seen at big lots.
