Burn Notice

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

It's a pro against a con when Michael, going all out to save his client, tangles with a con artist by posing as the perfect victim.

Pretty good ep. I thought. I always enjoy watching how Michael not only gets the job done, but puts the screws to the bad guy(s) as well.

(And the little reminder to the loan shark was nice too.)

Another good episode. I like the expanding world of characters (The Pakistani spy), and the magazine fight was badass and very Bourne-eque.

Minor nitpick on that. How did Michael know the guy's mailing address?

Glad the brother has seemingly faded back into the woodwork for now - oh no, looks like he's the center of next week's episode.

Didn't even think about that!

Then again, it's Michael. If he can get a 10-yr old docier on Carla, I'm thinking it's not too difficult for him to find out that kind of info. (I'm figuring they might've assumed that and figured it'd be superfluous to the show and that the time was more important showing otherwise.) Still, never caught that.

He has connections all over Miami. I'm sure finding out a local loan shark's address wasn't too hard.

So a year's subscription to Cat Fancy costs $300? Why didn't he check Hot Deals? It's usually free there.

I believe he said lifetime subscription, but I could be mistaken.

It was a lifetime subscription.

I'm more impressed that he got the next month's issue than I am that he got an address.

Good episode again. Loved the interaction with the Pakistani spy. The "mark" that Michael was trying to help out was almost too much of a moron though.

I know he's only a very minor character, but the more I see of Barry the money launderer, the more I like him. I just hope he doesn't become too much of a crutch as he appears to be popping up more and more.

Good episode. I don't think that it was Markie Post. If so, she has fallen hard on the hotness meter, even though it's been quite a few years.

When Michael mentioned the Cat Fancy subscription, the first thing that I thought was also "How did he get the guys mailing address?".

But with a subscription for a monthly magazine, don't you get like August's issue in July prior to it hitting the newstand? In which case, Michael was just giving him the mother's most recent issue.

I think it was Cindy Pickett. She's had a lots of guest starring roles over the years. I seem to recall her being on St. Elsewhere?

If IMDB is right, then she just turned 60 this year.

She was the mom in "Ferris Bueller" - my wife got that immediately.

Another great episode. I love it whenever Michael does an accent. He always seems to be having so much fun.
