Fry's HD sale

It looks like Fry's is getting rid of all their HDs. At the Norcross, GA store next to Gwinnett Mall, they had a table infront of store with most for $10-$15. They nolonger have them on the shelves with the Blu-ray.

I was at the Gwinnett Fry's last Friday, and they had that display set up as you walk through the turnstiles, but at that time they still had HD DVDs on the shelves as well. I guess they finally cleared out all that space over the weekend. They don't seem to aggressive in pricing ... yet.

They got in a bunch of Universal discs from Canada, with the bilingual covers. Wonder if they bought out Inetvideo's inventory? I've already got most of the titles I want, the prices will have to drop lower to get me to buy more. It looks like they sent all the Paramount titles back a few weeks ago.

I would imagine that Frys is getting rid of their HD inventory. At the Palo Alto store they had them laid out on the table with prices between 10-15 bucks a pop. If you are looking to feed your HD itch, this is probably as good a time as any to get a good selection at a good price. Next year this will be the Sony Betamax format, to be found only at flea markets and E-bay.

Fry's Houston has had them on tables, the rack and in baskets now for about a month or so placing different titles on sale for $9.99; but never below it and not all at once. It's torture watching and waiting for the big move!

Fry's in IL has a ton of HD discs as well. They're not going anywhere @ 9.99. They need to bring them down to about 5.99 - then they'll move.
