DVD Talk review of 'Eureka - Season Two'

I read Don Houston's DVD review of Eureka - Season Two at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=33928 and...

Feel it covered a lot of territory. One thing that drives some people nuts is the recycling of actors on the Skiffy. I am not one of those people and in fact if I like an actor's work I'll be tracking all of of it that I can.

I think fans of genre shows appreciate seeing their favorites in other roles; Eureka using a number of Stargate SG-1 actors much like Marvel used to include crossover acts in titles they wanted to sell more back in the 70's and 80's (they may still do it; I haven't kept up). I recognized a half dozen cameo or featured roles in the season set, pointing out the major ones but it's my understanding that they are used as "hooks" to generate more viewers (and do so successfully). Thanks for the observations!
