A little Scrubs news

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/07/...ive-court.html

Spoiler:
Former Friends actress Courteney Cox has reportedly signed up to appear in the next season of hit U.S. TV series Scrubs.
Cox signed up to appear in three episodes of the medical comedy drama series following the announcement that her own show Dirt had been cancelled by network bosses at FX.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Cox will become Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine and her character will "ruffle feathers".

Because it is guest star news I thought I should spoilerize... They ususally make the most out of their guests so this should be good.

Interesting choice.

Should be fun...

... while they are at it they should bring Heather Locklear back.

If and when she gets out of the looney bin.

How many feathers can really be ruffled in 3 episodes?

Kinda cool, but 3 episodes? Maybe it's just a trial run to see how she fits in before committing to more.

They made me not hate Tara Reid in her role, so I am fine with anyone.

Well I may be wrong, but I would like that adding another full time character at this juncture would be silly. It will probably just lead to hiring Dr. Cox permanently after he continuously denies he would ever even consider the job. They can do a lot in a few episodes. See also Michael J. Fox (2), Heather Locklear (2), Brendan Fraser (3), Rick Schroder (4), Amy Smart (3), Mandy Moore (2), Julianna Margulies (2). Remember all their characters well after only a few episodes?

I cannot argue with your rationale.

My point was the fact that Kelso had a pretty substantial role as the chief of medicine and relegating that job to 3 episodes seems odd. Much of the show came from the back and forth between Kelso & Cox, and I would imagine anyone who is in charge. I'd rather not see Cox take the job, it's too cliche for me.

So... Mrs. Cox is now the boss of Dr. Cox. That's a lot of Cox for one show.

I wish I could say the same. Tara sucks the life out of any scene she is in.

Hopefully she's gotten funnier since her weak link on friends days.
