Are there any Canadian only Blu-ray releases?
I was just curious if anyone knows if there are any releases that are exclusive to Canada besides the bi-lingual versions. Are there any titles released up there that are not released in the states? Thanks for any input.

" I wonder when Don Cherry is coming out on Blu-ray?"
LOL. You want your Don Cherry in lossless audio so you can feel like Ron MacLean, is that it?
Because the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em are all taken from regular NTSC TV broadcasts, they wouldn't be a very good upgrade over DVD. Maybe next year they'll take the HD broadcasts and mint a BD, 'cause, you know, with all that money CBC saved after ditching the Hockey Night in Canada theme, they might decide to spend that money on BDs.

The Canadian release of the first Harry Potter movie is the international "Philosopher's Stone" version.

In the first book, quite a bit of the British slang was changed with the idea of making it more understandable to American children, to the ire of many who would have preferred that they just stick to Rowling's original text. The moviemakers made two versions of the first movie to reflect the different versions of the books.

Lizard has it. ^
The international version of the movie has "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" as the on-screen title, and every mention of the title object was filmed using alternate dialogue takes. The movies are otherwise the same.
The "Philosopher's Stone" version was released on Blu-ray in Canada and the UK. The Australian release claims to be "Philosopher's Stone" on the case, but the actual disc inside the packaging is the American "Sorcerer's Stone" version.
