I kind of figured the 2.8 gain talk was rubbish, but good god, even on low light (Mitsu HD1000U) this thing is making my eyes bleed (was using a BOC screen). The color, clarity and brightness rivals some of the better plasma sets I've seen and this sucker is only 720p. Accidentally got a size too big though (108" diagonal, a 94" would have done just fine.) can't fill it out with my current setup. Even looks great with every light in the room on.

For less than $270, this thing really brought up my aging projector.

Kind of curious (for the few that may have them) what anyone's thoughts are on these things and if the lessened cone of visibility has much of an overall effect?
