Heroes Con 2008 - photos

Just thought I'd share my photo album from Heroes Con 2008 (went on this past weekend in Charlotte, NC). Heroes Con is probably one of the last few remaining comic-only-centric conventions that is still going strong these days.

Kept my spending on books and sketches to under $200, which was decent for me. I actually stood in line for a few sketches (Steve Epting and Brian Stelfreeze), and I found out why I stopped standing in line for sketches (painful feet, missing other panels of interest). Not sure if I'll commit as much time to standing in line for sketches next year, though. The weekend did fly by very quickly.

Did you upload the sketches you got anywhere? I love looking at what people get. If you have a scanner, you should upload your stuff to comicsketchgallery.com

The 4 sketches I got are in the "schwag" set. I do need to upload them to my comicartfans gallery when I get a chance.

Mark Brooks's stuff has made a nice leap of late, some of it has to be attributed to being inspired by AH! and then using computer coloring to really spruce up his artwork.
