hdtv tuning setup help: quick question

well this is stupid but here goes: my new hdtv when playing GTA4 inside the cab the red display is bleeding horribly. so blurry I can't read it.

Sounds like you've got over-pushed red. Used to be a huge problem, still around on occasion. Try a setup disc. You can also try turning down color or red settings on the TV on your own, but best with actual setup screens.

PS: Try a decent game instead of that crap.

I agree with Spiky.

In addition, calibrate your tv to a setup disc and the kind of movies/tv that you watch. However the video games turn out is their problem.

yeah I've got the sound & vision home theater setup disc but it is standard definition (bought it years ago). thanks for your help guys

That might help a problem like this, but the Bluray version would be better.
