Has Weird Al ever done SNL?

I think he'd make a great host, providing the writing doesn't stink. Of course, Al is capable of great writing.

Has he ever done the show as a guest host or music guest? I didn't find anything in a search, so I don't think so.

Count me as another surprised guy. I think he would have been a great host during his prime. Now I don't think they'd let him, plus I think he's above the quality of the show at this point.

That is shocking. Even with his first Top-10 hit "White & Nerdy"? Wow. Definitely one of music's most talented entertainers.. but hey, he's done The Simpsons twice. That says something.

They're probably afraid to have him on since he'd outshine everyone.
