I just started a thread about Yahoo users' top 30 animated films, and was going to put 30 thumbnails that linked to more information about each film, but on previewing each subsequent five to make sure I'd done them right, it wouldn't let me put more than 25 in the post. I grouped them all together to appear as one big pic, but since they were thumbnails, they didn't take up that much room. What gives? Has there always been a limitation like that?

I believe so.

You're a veritable ever-flowing fountain of information, X. :sarcasm: ;)
Is there a reason for a limitation like this, and can it be fixed to include more in situations like this? I can understand where pictures would be limited by size, but I've seen some pretty huge single pictures posted which are much bigger than even the combined sizes of all the thumbnails I was trying to insert.

Make two posts.

Yeah, I thought about that, but I was going for asthetics. I wanted one big 6 x 5 block of thumbnails. No bigee, the thread is already going. I was mainly driving at the posting of pics in general. Seems a little silly to have a limit, UNLESS SOMEONE WOULD LIKE TO EXPLAIN IT BETTER. (hint hint nudge nudge)

VB allows you to limit the number of pictures (and with mods, resize them too). It's prolly just easier to limit it to 25 in a post (which is a LOT) then up it and allow 30 BIG pictures.
You should just take the 30 thumbnails, and make one picture out of them...

That would have defeated the purpose of being able to click on each individual pic to get information about each film.
BTW...what is "VB"?

"Borrowed" from another forum. ;)vB code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing. The ability to use vB Code is set on a forum-by-forum basis by the administrator, so you should check the forum rules when you post a new message.http://www.agolda.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode

If they are pictures of melons, there is no limit: 2, 4, 6, 8... whatever you want.
