Can anyone tell me what is different between the Metal Gear Saga Vol.1 and vol. 2 dvds? Also does anyone know if any of the content will be repeated on the Blu-Ray that comes with the MGS4 LE?
I'm trying to figure out if it is worth hunting down the dvds or not.

Saga 1 is a documentary of the MGS timeline and featured a teaser trailer for MGS4. Saga 2 is a documentary of the different Snakes (Naked/Big Boss, Solid, Liquid, and Solidus, with a brief mention of The Boss) in the MGS series and features more trailer for MGS4.

They're nice to have but not particularly essential. There's nothing there you don't know already but they're a decent refresher if you don't have time to reply the previous games in the series before tackling MGS4.

saga 2 is free with pre-order of mgs4, which also contain a beta code for mgo.

I did pre-order MGS4 at gamestop (i wanted the exclusive LE) and didn't get a saga vol. 2 dvd, I assume this means they were out and I am screwed?

Did you pre-order online or in-store? I think I heard that the online orders were going to get the disc shipped with the order, but I'm not positive on that.

For in-store, though, you probably should've gotten your disc by now. Some stores called people with pre-orders and told them the bonus discs were in, but most made you check in personally and pick them up. I would stop in your local store with your receipt and see if they still have some left.

I placed my pre-order this past Fri and got the vol. 2 disc. It actually cleared up a few story points for me.
