Buy.com lists the Medium 4 Season Pack as the same retail/sale price as just the 4th season. I'm sure this is a mis-price but worth a shot.

Finally located it on the site, but it looks suspiciously like a mislisting for season 4 alone (same price, same release date, etc. and no other description). Not sure if it's worth the trouble...does Buy.com charge CC when order is placed or when it ships?
DD did the same thing (only worse...they actually listed Rawhide Complete Seasons 1 & 2 in the title AND the description...what they actually sent was Rawhide Season 2 Vol. 1 & 2). It was a hassle to get return authorized (CSR's evidently are challenged at reading their own company's advertising) & get return label to return the sets. Still waiting for CC to be credited for return.

They also have a separate listing for season 4 alone. Both listings have different UPCs--this one matches the UPC for the 4-season box set as listed on dvdempire.com.

I wouldn't expect anything good to happen from a Buy.com misprice. There won't be any gift certificates and there probably won't be cancellation notices either. They'll just ship out the wrong thing to everyone and you'll have to return it.

maybe you didn't read the terms of usage on buy.com's website, and i quote:
9. No Responsibility To Sell Mispriced Products Or Services. Buy.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products and/or services listed at an incorrect price, rebate or refund, or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. Buy.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Buy.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
they can't be responsible for a misprice. it isn't like a B&M store where 2 or 3 of an item might be sold at the misprice before corrected. as quickly as things spread on these deals sites, they could have thousands of orders go through before it is caught. simply not feasible for the dealer, and every internet website has the same disclaimer and for a misprice this big, the same policy. hopefully you'll get a $10 coupon or something, but they are certainly not obligated to sell it to you for that price, and to suggest it is false advertising is ridiculous....

I ordered a set, but since this was an obvious misprice, it's completely understandable if they cancel the order. (I did receive an e-mail confirmation)
They've obviously realized their pricing mistake, so it should be easy enough for them to simply cancel all orders placed before the price correction. If they knowingly accept these orders, then ship out single season sets instead of the 4-season sets, that is flat out wrong.

Absolutely--especially since the SKU/UPC for the shipped item would not match what was originally ordered and paid for.

Mine shipped and I see $45 charge to credit card--now just waiting to see what shows up (season 4 or 1-4) I already owned 1-3, and only needed season 4, but for the price I couldn't pass. Will just sell off the 1-3 to cover the cost of Season 4 + a small (~$15) profit.

I contacted them and they apologized for the inconvenience and sent a return mailer. They also said that it had happened to many people. I tried to convice them to honor their web-site, but instead they changed their web-site and gave me (and others) a refund.
