You people should be watching Rules of Engagement if you want a real laugh. It stars Patrick Warburton (Puddy from Seinfeld) and David Spade. The other cast members Megyn Price (great counter to Patrick), Oliver Hudson (Goldie's son) and Bianca Kajlish round out the cast. Good writing. Great jokes and good chemistry.
I don't see any threads here for it. Usually they are for How I Met My Mother, an OK but inferior show to this. Rules gets good ratings. Check it out.
Oops, edited the name.

Based on the above picture, it appears that this show is about the rules necessary to have freaky five-ways in a giant bed while maintaining respect and dignity.

i put in another vote for "Psych", as well as "My Boys" on TBS (which is about to start a new season - watch it!)
No one talks about "Reno 911!" much on this forum either, but i still enjoy it.

Rules of Engagement would be ok if they got rid of David Spade and the younger couple. Spade is just too obnoxious. The other two just arent funny at all. Their acting is horrid even by sitcom standards.

I agree with the OP. HIMYM is not really funny (I can't think of a single time that I've really laughed) -- Of course that's just my opinion - and I've given it a bunch of chances.
JUST LIKE THE ABOVE IS JUST YOUR OPINION.

I don't know if anyone watches it or not, but I haven't seen much discussion on Kenny vs Spenny.
I just started watching it recently and I absolutely love it.

The big bang theory is great and in my opinion the only reason why any watches rules is because they are watching the other 3 shows. Rules cannot anchor a night thats for sure.

they can't get rid of the young couple that would mean getting rid of the hot girl
wouldn't be good for a show like this.
why would anyone want to live with them?

Rules definitely gets a bump because of the surrounding shows. Of course, outside of BBT, there's not much interest on this forum in any of these shows, at least not enough to warrant a weekly thread... I know I avoid Two and a Half Men but apparently it draws really well, and I gave up on Christine a while back.
I watch Rules, but it's not must-watch for me... especially annoying is the laugh track. I've always liked Warburton and I think he's the best out of the cast, with Price a close second. The other three are just there... I can't stand it when the episode revolves around Spade and Hudson at work.
At some point, the young couple is going to get married, right?
Both HIMYM and Big Bang Theory started off rather slowly (and I still cringe at some of the geekiest moments in BBT) but have grown to be shows that make me laugh, especially the attention to continuity in HIMYM.
I actually kinda liked "Welcome to the Captain" which I'm pretty sure will never see the light of day again.

"I can't stand it when the episode revolves around Spade and Hudson at work (had no idea he was Goldie's son, though). At some point, they're going to get married, right?"
what does that mean?
