So will this be updated like the Unexpurgated Edition from 1990 was. I wasn't crazy about the pop culture updates at the time since they seemed slapped together. I remember Madonna references were new and then 1970s references to a brand new Datsun stayed in. Just really seemed sloppy to me. But I guess I wouldn't mind a 2008 update for the comic format.

Also I wish this was longer than 30 issues. i always wanted to see more of this world. It might have been cool to make this series a sequel to the book set 18 or 30 (depending on edition) years later.

If it's like the Dark Tower series, they'll just use King's work as a guideline and write it a new. So I think it'll have more consistency in terms of pop culture. I wonder if it'll still be an 80s/70s story or take place in present.

I believe the year number you are looking for would be 19. ;)
