I used to be a huge fan of his books back inthe 80's (even though his infatuation with Stephen King was distracting) and just last week ran across a copy of of his short story anthology "Blue World". A great short story collection (and long out of print) containing one of my favorite stories of all time, Blue World, proving that when he doesn't try to imitate someone else he's a very good writer.
Just finished:Black Postcards by Dean Wareham and Knockemstiff by Donald Ray Pollock. Started Blue Latitudes by Tony Horwitz and The Garden of Last Days by Andre Dubus II.
Now reading The Bottoms by Joe R. Lansdale.
