Most talked-about series in this forum's history?

Every weekly LOST episode thread runs an average of 6 pages within a few hours of the broadcast.

The threads are usually filled with speculation rather than comments like 'this was a "meh" episode' or something along those lines, and that speculation prompts more debate and so on, but it's a show that has engaged viewers like nothing else I've ever seen. It's usually wonderful speculation too, a lot of truly intelligent opinions and ideas, and it makes me wonder if there has ever been a show discussed as much as LOST has in this forum's history?

I would be very surprised. I'd say 24 and American Idol get plenty of discussion as well.

Nothing compares to Lost when it comes to discussion, as it has been since the pilot episode. I'd say a very distant second was season 1 of Heroes.

Sopranos had good threads, but much of it was filled with incessant griping.

I miss the weekly Arrested Development threads to read about jokes I may have missed the first or even second time. Those threads weren't long but I loved reading the posts the Monday after.

Gotta be 24 or LOST without a doubt. Question is - how will you figure out which for sure?

Lost as far as length of threads and overall discussion. Although things like Buffy have tended to have the most 'general, non-episode specific discussion' threads pop up over the years.

I dunno, it seems like we still have a weekly Arrested Development thread. Although the discussion is centered more around "AD is the best show evear!" and "NO, it ISNT".
