FYI, that code is only good for creating a new B&N account.

I got the 25% code to work for the new account, but can't seem to get the 5% and free shipping link to work, as I'm getting charged $2.98 for shipping for a total price of $29.11 right now...any advice?

you have to use a visa card to get the 5% and free ship, after you click that link, go to the checkout from there

Use the bn.com/military link instead. That gives you 6% off and free shipping...

Did that, and put in a Visa card to pay with, but still not showing the 5% and free shipping...

I dunno, it worked just fine for me... if you follow the steps... however, having never ordered from them before, I DID have to create a new account with them.

I couldn't get the 5% + free shipping one and the 25% off code to work. The military link works though. $24 shipped. Hmm...

In for one, already have a previous box set so I was only going to get the Deluxe Edition of the latest movie, but most places are charging $20-22 for it. For only $24 I couldn't pass up this set.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I have the old silver slipcover trilogy set and wanted this new version too. Why not just grab this set for cheap? Can't beat getting it for $24.13.

used a different code

The A8P8N9P code didn't work for me because it it for first time users only. So, instead I just googled, and went to http://www.retailmenot.com/view/barnesandnoble.com , browsed through their list of BN coupons, and started trying those coupons until one worked.

Got my six-disc set for $26.41 including tax and free shipping. Now I just need to sell the old trilogy set.

But don't you have to pay the membership fee?

No the account for that coupon is just an online account. I tried the account I had already signed up for and it didn't work. A different email and it worked fine.

As silly as it sounds, having a membership is bad for this coupon. But you can use it over and over and over by creating new accounts...

Thanks OP, using this same method, I bought the upcoming Dirty Harry set for $37.73. Not bad at all considering the set. For the record, I went through the Visa Loyalty site for the 5% and free shipping and then entered the coupon code in for 25% (new customer, no B&N membership). Good luck to you all!

I got a better deal!

I went to Circuit City tonight and they had each of the Rambos blu rays (First Blood / Rambo: First Blood, Part 2 / Rambo III ) marked down to $13.18 ea, plus they were having a buy 2 get 1 free with those titles included. Got all three out the door for $28 and change!

That's not a better deal. You're missing the fourth film.

Same here. I don't know what to do with it. I'll probably just hang on to it.

Oh and, any other low priced items to use the coupon on? This could be good.
