Just curious. I thought even though it is a holiday, BBonline did shipped movies.

Unless they changed (maybe due to finances) so cutting out shipping on holiday Mondays now.

Nothing shipped for me today although I thought before they had on a Monday which happed also to be a holiday.

nothing by anyone anywere shipped today. it was a national holiday.

only things using special shipping options would be delivered, that does not include netflix or bbo.

I remembered that on President's Day this year (which was on a Monday), BBonline did shipped movies.

So I was wondering did it changed and BBonline is not shipping now on Mondays if it is a holiday.

the post office doesnt ship or deliver anything on national holidays.

they continue to process what is already in the system at main postal processing centers, but no shipping or delivering.

also no picking up anything, no emptying mailboxes, etc.....

What I was wondering is if anyone shows on your Shipped Queue that BBonline shipped something today. Mine's used to on a Monday holiday. It would show shipped x movie on my Shipped Queue. However, today nothing. So I was guessing maybe BBonline stopped shipping on Monday holidays.

he last Monday holiday was President's Day in February and BBonline did ship movies and My Shipped Queue reflected that.

BBO in spite of what it says in the Q does not ship on holidays.

they can't, because the P.O. does not pick up mail.
for bbo to show "shipped" on a holiday is misleading and perhaps
this is why it doesn't show in the Q anymore.

possibly by "shipped" bbo is saying they made the discs ready for shipping and are in their "out bin" ready for pick up by the post office.

You could be right.

It's just from past experiences, when BBonline shipped on a Monday holiday (shows as shipped by about 2 PM typically), I would usually get it on Tuesday, the next day.

Of course, BBonline today only shipped 2 movies instead of 3 even though they physically received all 3 discs that were checked in at the store Saturday.
