The Man Who Would Be King???
Anyone heard anything about a re-release of this?
The R1 is a rubbish, terrible flipper, in a cardboard snapcase, with almost nothing in terms of special features.
I love the movie, but hate the release so badly. I ended up ripping and re-burning it, just to have the movie on one side of the disc.
Any hope of a re-issue on this one?

Warner was promising a re-release, back when they were doing those HTF chats, but it has not materialized.
This is the only title left in my collection with a single movie divided across two sides of the same disc, that I can recall. I have other, longer movies split over two separate discs, but this movie is just over two hours so there's no reason it can't be remastered onto a DVD-9. (Not to mention that the PQ of the old release is pretty poor by today's standards as well).

It's just one of those films that it baffles me that it hasn't seen a better release.
This is the only edition in R1 since 1997. Studios re-release mediocre films in 57 different editions, but the truly epic, quality movies get ignored.
