Rome - Rise and Fall of an Empire?
Anyone see this on the History Channel?
There is a DVD box set (4 discs - 611 Mins.) due in August and was wondering if it was worth a blind buy.
Opinions?

Thanks for the update on the DVD, I've been waiting forever to get it, and didn't want to go R2. I haven't seen it yet, but the reviews were OK. Of course it's being put out by the History Channel, so it won't be anamorphic and I should probably just go R2 anyways.
I believe it played on the Discovery channel, but was called Battle for Rome instead. Where did you find the DVD info?
