Sex/David is just getting sad. He really has a narcissistic personality and needs psychiatric help. "I've had many many years of formal training from some of the top teachers in the world" I really hope they choose not to show him next year.
I thought that first Asian girl would be awful (especially when they started playing the wrong song and she was just standing there), but was surprised at how good she was (and how much she looked like a man).

Anyway, I'm thrilled that the season has begun. Second favorite show, just behind Top Chef. Easily the most entertaining and compassionate judges on TV (although I usually fast forward through Dan's comments).
The show's highlight? The bit at the end with the popper and Nigel. Their impromptu "slo mo" killed me.

I've read that Shane may not be back. MTV's "Dance Crew" show starts up with live shows in mid-June on Thursday nights and he was the lead judge.
I've also heard Wade Robson may be a no-show for one reason or another.

Muraine was featured on Ellen's Memorial Day show. It boggles my mind how he can do all those crazy moves. It's insane. I agree that he would have stood a better chance of winning America's Got Talent, but he's getting mainstream exposure now and that's what counts.

The popper was very good though I agree that he won't make it past Vegas. The other one that really stood out for me was the blond girl who played soccer.
I completely missed Audition show #2.
Audition show #3 will be tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm, CDT.
Audition show #4 will be on Thursday, 7pm, CDT.
Both are two hour shows.

About Shane and Wade possibly not returning, that is very disappointing news. I have always enjoyed both of them, and they are both very good choreographers.

Watched the first hour... meh.
I laughed at the dude in the "Joseph Smith is my Homeboy" shirt. Only in Utah.

I could barely stomach the first hour. But a couple girls (Chelsea and Lindsay) were really good.
The judges got cranky with a few dancers.
"What are you studying?"
"Criminal Justice."
"You've created a new crime against humanity."
"What do you do?"
"Financial adviser."
"Would you invest in yourself as a dancer?"
"I think so. Yes."
"You're a bad financial adviser."
I don't know how some bad dancers make it in front of the judges. Aren't the dancers supposed to dance in groups before even going to the judges?
