What are some other awesome games similar to this? I know there's Sunset Riders, Simpsons.... There was some cool western cow game, but I can't remember what it was called....

Oregon Trail II?

How about some sort of sub-forum made to discuss video games... like book talk!

Huge beat em up fan, so I know that's Cowboys of Moo-mesa. I'm not sure of the spelling of Moomesa, but I know it was based on a TV show.

X-Men was pretty much the ultimate beat em up. Streets of Rage and Final Fight kind of fit that bill as well.

I'll second X-Men, already listed above.
That and TMNT were probably my favorites.

Man, I wish we really had a videogame forum to discuss these types of threads. That would be dandy.

X-men for sure. Especially fun on a 6-player, 2-screen cabinet.

My favorite beat 'em up is D&D: Tower of Doom (the sequel, Shadow over Mystara, I've only played via MAME, but it's good too).

I've always loved the Streets of Rage series; #2 was probably the best in the series IMHO

Streets of Rage 2 is still the best scrolling fighter around.
