Stuart Gordon's "Space Truckers"
I was thinking about picking this up because I'm big on Stuart Gordon and I always enjoy Dennis Hopper.
I remember hearing about this awhile ago, being a bit worried about it and then forgetting about it shortly after.
I've seen most of Gordon's stuff and really enjoyed it.
I was just really curious about what anyone had to say about this movie.
Is it worth picking up for a fan of Gordon?

It is a mixed bag... not sure that it is essential for your collection. If you can rent it then go that route. If you can get it cheap, then I would say pick it up, don't expect it to be like his other stuff.
For me it was not a film I would not watch more than once. It is kinda out there...
Not really sure how to describe it. Not sure that even helps.

I'm also a fan of Gordon, but the guy is all over the place. His filmography is full of absolute classics (Re-Animator, From Beyond) and total turds (Robot Jox, although I suppose it is enjoyable on some level). If you're a rabid fan of his work then I say go for it, otherwise it might be best to rent first.
Personally, I've only seen a little bit of Space Truckers. It didn't seem so bad, but terribly cheesy.
