Definitely not much of a selection, but picked up Casino and Inside Man for $15 and I Am Legend and Pan's Labyrith for $27. Had considered picking up PL as part of the Best Buy BR sale, but this is a better deal (imo).

Most of the better stuff on HD-DVD I already have, plus the pickings are kind-of slim. All the "cheap" titles that I would want I already own too. I actually just opened a new account hoping to capitalize on the Blu sale... one day too late :(. Had to settle for the HD-DVD sale instead.

You'd think some of the prices would drop a little lower too for clearance. I bought Serenity and the 3 Bourne films for $38.60 total. <$10 a title which is not bad and I don't think any of these are announced in BD yet.

Ya but when you use the "deal" to fulfill an account, the prices per movie come out REALLY cheap. If they were true "clearance prices" then when used to fulfill, they'd be practically free. As much as we'd all LOVE that to happen, let's keep it real... :D;)

Using in conjunction with a B1G1 code, you also get a free dvd, but have to pay a shipping charge. Still, $28.68 shipped for Knocked Up HD, Blazing Saddles HD, and Untracable. Moviestop pays $12 for Untracable, so thats $16.68 for two hd-dvds.

I just received an email saying that Casino is no longer available so they are going to give Breach as a replacement. Just email them and ask them to replace the out of stock movie with one available..
Edit: just checked my account again, and I'm being charged for Breach as well as shipping. Emailing them now to correct this, and now Breach is awaiting stock. Yeesh.

I got shipping confirmation on Face/Off and Pan's Labyrinth and the second and third Bourne movies. I also had orders placed for the Mummy, Mummy Returns and Serenity but they're awaiting stock (cancelled) but it was a struggle getting them to replace Mummy Returns with Serenity on the phone. I even called back and the second rep was even more rude than the first.

I ordered 10 of the $14.96 titles. I just checked my order history and have only 4 titles on it now which I received an email fCH that they have shipped. I also got an email that Apollo 13 and Backdraft are out of stock. Both the Mummy movies, Casino, Bourne supremacy, and Carlito's Way are no longer listed in my order history.
The problem is 3 of the titles they shipped are the ones I'm paying for and only one is a free title. If they don't ship anything else this makes it a Buy 3 get 1 free which isn't what I agreed to.
I placed a second order for 2 $20 titles and Untracable as the free title. They are all listed as awaiting stock. If they just send me untracable which should be free will they charge me for this title?
I was going to buy a few more but now I won't. This will probably be more of a headache than it's worth.

Mine showed the asterisks beside Serenity. Serenity is now no longer mentioned anywhere in the order and my account shows no pending orders. I just dropped them an email. I don't care for my B1G1 to become a B2G1. I would accept another freebie provided it did not have to be from the dwindling HD-DVD list.

My orders turned out in the end. I placed an order for 10 disks in 3 orders. I got 8 of them and the other two cancelled out each other so that I didnt pay for the two that never shipped. I'm pretty happy but I ordered early when the deal appeared.

My email response from CH was "Unfortunately, the following selection is no longer available. We apologize for any inconvenience. SERENITY (2005) - HD DVD. If you wish to order a replacement, please provide the title and selection number of each item you would like."
My response was I would accept a free Beowulf HD-DVD as substitute but if that was not acceptable then a voucher for a free title. I do not understand the wording "each item you would like." This will probably result in them charging me the difference for the higher priced Beowulf disc. I'm hoping they will feel compelled to make me happy.
You may be better off kenbenobi not having to deal with the hassles.

That's justing f--ing great. So far there is no activity on my account. If they had such dwindling stocks of these discs, they just should have offered a straight half off sale. That way, no titles would count as fulfilments and it would prevent them from being screwed when the purchase title was OOS and keep the customer from getting screwed when the free title was OOS. It would have been a better deal for all involved with the same savings.

Today I finally called to get my HD-DVD BOGO offer settled. One of my orders that I placed, they cancelled the free dvd and sent the first one and charged me full price.
It has been a long time since I had to deal with CH customer service. Let's put it this way, I'd rather pull a tooth out of my mouth with a pair of pliers and no pain killer than have to deal with that again. First she insisted that I could not get a free dvd when buying a Hi-def title, then she insisted that I needed to give her a 6 digit code, then she insisted that I pay shipping even though my original order had free shipping, then she insisted on me providing a code for the free shipping. Never was was she nice about any of it, and every time she said that she could not do it unless... yet somehow she finally got it done and kept saying how this is a one time deal she's cutting me and how I should never call in again with this request because they won't make any acceptions again. WHAT THE HELL?!?? They are the ones that screwed up the orde, not me. Man-o-man, supposedly I now have V For Vendetta on the way free of charges. I'll believe it when I see it. Of course now everytime I look at that title on my shelf, I'll think of that stupid BIATCH on the phone. Is this the way it always is on the phone w/CH? I think maybe she was in a bad mood cause the boss bent her over the desk today. :D

I was charged for two B1G1 free orders and they canceled the G1 parts of both orders. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the CSR to try n' get it straight - but it was easier to just return both selections marked "REFUSED" on the box. They wanted to charge me shipping, charge me twice, etc etc and it just was not worth it.

They did charge me $2.18 to ship Beowulf even though I used a free shipping code. They did not charge me for the disc itself though. I'll just live with it at this point. I got all three Bournes and Beowulf for about $40 but not without a little hassle. I resolved mine by email if anyone is interested.

Ordered Bourne Identity and Supremacy. Charged me for Supremacy, but they ran out of Identity. Didn't see any other titles I wanted and didn't want to deal with the hassle I hear people are going through, so I simply refused the package and returned to them. I agree. They should have handled this sale better offering 1/2 off instead.
