The reason that Archie Annual digest starts at number 27 instead of 1 is because the first 26 Archie Annuals were comic books, not digests.

Wow...the seller couldn't have been to happy with the final price. Seems awful cheap to me for that collection. Who knows what a collection like that would have went for in the late 80's/early 90's?

They probably wouldn't have gone for much. Those Archie comics didn't have a dozen holofoil variant covers.

That was not a complete set. I had a lot of these when I was younger. The only ones I still have are the Super Hero Digests 1 and 2. This collection did not have #2.
