So I'm getting hitched in August, and we'll be heading out to Vegas for our honeymoon.

Priceline has a deal for six nights at the Venetian and round trip airfare for $921 per person. Good deal? I want to treat her to a very nice trip and from all accounts the Venetian is the hotel to stay at, right?

Go to some different sites and price out the hotel and airfare separately and see what comes out. The per person part kind of confuses me because the hotel price should be the same for 1 or 2.

As for the place to stay, if you want 5-star, I'm sure the Wynn and Bellagio would also pass muster.

Sorry, the total on Priceline for the flight and room is $1842. They just break the total cost down to per person for some reason.

Looks like most of the other sites have the room for about $1425 and the flight for $600.

Try airline websites - I'm not sure what the closest hub to you is in Florida, but where I live, usairways.com has had some great hotel/airfare deals that were 40-50% off from hotel/airfare deals on orbitz.com.

Southwest flies to Vegas. Did you try them?

If I were to honeymoon in Vegas, I would pick the Bellaggio.

My wife and I got married a couple of months ago at Wynn, and I'd highly, highly recommend it. I don't know if it's worth the price, but it is certainly close.

Be careful in Vegas, it's crazy there. Might be too much for you, hehehe

So that's where you've been. You got your balls cut off! :p

I've been told that I don't think that's funny.

Sweet! Congrats! Mine did let me keep my balls. They're bronzed and sitting on the mantle. Hope you were so lucky!

Just saw something about room rates at the Venetian being $139.00 a night.

A little late, but I just got home from staying in the Venetian for the last week (on business), and it was seriously the nicest hotel room I've ever been in. I would easily a pay a grand for a week there, you will love it.

The only downside I found was that table games were ridiculously expensive (25+ most nights), but IP and Harrah's are nearby if you're cheap like me.

The shows are amazing there, I wish I had free time to see them. They had Phantom, Jersey Boys, Blue Man Group, and Wayne Brady all going on (among others), and it's got a great central location on the strip.

I will try to get photos of my room up in the next day or two.

We just got married at Mandalay last week.

Stayed at Harrah's From Wed to Wed for $950 (for two, w/flights).

It was convenient for us because

1. Monorail station.
2. Central Location on the strip
- Next to the Venetian, Forum Shop Mall, The Mirage, Treasure Island, etc.

IMO we spent less money on the hotel and more money on the shows, strip, dining, etc.
