I really don't know if it would be worth starting a Blu-ray "getting on ......." thread in the HD forum. Maybe we should try it out this week. BD information gets spilled over into the DVD Talk forum area all the time and people use the "DVD Spending Tab" thread for BD purchases as well.

If you look in previous "getting on ......." threads, you'll see that a lot of people are getting the BD versions if available. That's why I thought I'd include Blu-ray discs in the title since quite a few members, including myself, buy them.
