The tour dates so far:

June 17- Phoenix, Orpheum
June 18 - Phoenix, Orpheum
June 20 - El Paso, Plaza Theatre
June 22 - Houston, Jones Hall
June 23 - Dallas, Palladium

June 26 - Saint Louis, Fox Theatre
June 28 - Columbus, Ohio Theatre
June 29 - Knoxville, Civic Theatre

The press conference ended with Tom Waits confirming he will be travelling to Europe. Details about the route - 'from Spain to Dublin' - to be announced.

At least I do not have to try and find someone to drive to Tennessee with me this time.

2 ticket limit. Damn, that's low. I guess it works out good for those of us who really want tickets and do not plan on scalping them. The bad part is that I know about 6 people who really want to go and now we all have to buy them in different groups.

That's how it was on the Orphans tour. And you're going to need to bring your credit card/ID to the venue to pick up tickets. Everything will be Will Call to prevent scalping.

One things for sure. Waits' rare touring and short tours have definitely always made his concerts an "event".

Hopefully my wife and i can get them for the Columbus show. Did his tickets for the Orphans tour sell out quickly on Ticketmaster?

Yes, Detroit sold out fairly quickly if I remember correctly.

You're fucked. It's always a hassle. When I bought Waits tix on his last tour it wouldn't let me use my saved credit card on the ticketmaster website. I had to scramble through my office looking to borrow a credit card. It would only accept a new credit card I had never used on the site before. Those fuckers make everything difficult and then charge you up the ass for it. Good luck!

Got front row in Knoxville (thankfully, not a Ticketmaster city) this morning. Can't wait.

Looks like it's going much smoother this time on ticketmaster.. I was able to use a stored card, and no problems whatsoever.. I snagged 4th row center in Atlanta

Congrats to you both. I could swear I tried to buy my tickets at 10am exactly, and I was still only able to get 4th row in the mezzanine for Ohio.

Apparantly Columbus sold out very quickly but the rest that have gone on sale still haven't sold out.

Yeah, Knoxville is going surprisingly slow. A friend of mine got floor seats at 10, an hour after they went on sale.

I got pit Row 4 off the side a bit and my buddy got Row 1 Orchestra in the very center. I am trying to decide which are better seats.

I am freakin johnny on the spot with Ticketmaster and it doesnt matter I still dont get the Very front.. I sat there from 9:50 on just refreshing and AS SOON as it allowed me to buy I hit the two and off I went...
This was for the Columbus show.
STILL.. I got Row V Section 3....I mean not HORRID, but I should have had better...This happened exactly the same way back when he had the Louisville show. I did the same thing and ended up with Row RR or something... not cool, but at least better than last time.
Should be good nonetheless, cant wait.
