Sorry if this has been discussed, but I can't find any mention of it...

I discovered Buffy way late, 7th season in fact, and just started watching Angel after buying the big five season box. Anyway, I was watching the third season episode Fredless, and there is mention of Angel going to visit Buffy after she's resurrected in season six of Buffy. I pulled out my Buffy DVDs and watched Life Serial, where she mentions a meeting with Angel. This was when the shows were on competing networks already.

Anyway, I remember reading about a Dark Horse comic dealing with this meeting. I'm not sure if its an imaginary tale, where the Scoobies imagine what might have happened or what, but since I wasn't watching the show at the time, I can't remember.

Switching gears, is this meeting ever discussed outside of this comic (if it even exists)?

You're right, (spoiler!) it was Xander, Anya, and Dawn's ideas of what happened. Each of their fantasy's are interrupted by a demon which turns out to be Willow warning them. It was a fun little book.

I dropped both of these books, despite being a huge Joss Whedon whore. The art on the Angel book is terrible, and I can only be beaten over the head with so much femininity in the Buffy one.
