That was the best Simpsons I have seen in years. Easily in the top 10 of all time. Perfect ending line. Best Flanders scene.
Awesome!

I was working on the laptop while watching Simpsons, so I may have missed it, but didn't the previews show more to the slaughterhouse scene than the actual episode had?

yep.. it showed more detail of homer going through the meat grinder.. he was suspended by a wire on his foot and just narrowly missed a bunch of the blades

This might be the most ridiculous comment I have ever read on these forums.

Ever.

Homer: That sounded like Tress MacNeille!

I forgot all about Dia-Betty.

Call me crazy, but this season has been very good. The last 8 or so have been excellent. Leaves hope for future episodes/seasons.

Loved Bart getting the huge subsidy check for crops he "didn't grow."

Excellent all-around episode.

Best episode I've seen in the past two years I think. Even my wife, who normally doesn't think the Simpsons is all that funny, really enjoyed it.

Wow, this one was full of great stuff. I haven't laughed this much during an episode in a while. The Pirates 3 gag killed me. And the appearance of Spider-Pig was welcomed. Lots of great lines, too. Glad to see them bringing the funny again.

I didn't watch the episode but I wanted to point out that Apocalypse Cow was a villain on The Tick.

That is all.
