All store exclusives and freebies - 4/27/08 to 5/03/08

These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; We'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

The Golden Compass 2-Disc has a Bonus Disc at Best Buy.

<b>Golden Compass</b> at Target comes with an exclusive bonus booklet of some sort.

And even though it's not a DVD, the new Def Leppard album <b>Songs from the Sparkle Lounge</b> comes with a bonus guitar pick only at Circuit City.

WalMart has a stand stating these are excluvies to them. Dont know if is just the "Lenticular Covers" that are exclusives, I think Hero Wanted with digital copy is avalible everywhere.

For anybody that cares... looks like I misinterpreted the listing in the Circuit City circular. Those bonus guitar picks in the new Def Leppard album are NOT in fact exclusive to CC, but are in fact available in all copies of the disc at all retailers. As far as i can tell, there are no exclusive versions of this album.
