I am trying to get a little surround system for my bedroom and I've been hearing alot of good reviews for the Klipsch Quintet III ($400) but I can't find any reviews for Klipsch Quintet SL ($570). I was wondering is it worth it for an extra $170 for the SL? Any feedback will help my choice or any other surround system you can recommend.

The SLs are a bit bigger and have more drivers for the front speakers than the Quintet III set. The downside of this is that to look really good, they need to be put vertically on stands or hung on the wall. If you're just putting your speakers on a bookshelf or something, the IIIs will do fine. Both sets sound great and unless you've got an absolute monster of an amp, the IIIs should be able to handle a lot of power. :)

Make sure you listen to them if you haven't already. While Klipsch definitely has a recognizable name, they have a unique sound that not everyone cares for. You may very well like them, but make sure you decide for yourself and not just based on reviews.
