Likely YMMV, I just called one of my local Best Buy. The guy didn't really know about it.
But this is one movie I want to see. Where would I find this? Would they be at the front of the store? Is it by the new release sections? Are they by the registers?
I basically don't want to scope out the entire store if indeed it's YMMV.

I don't know about my store and the $1 thing, but the tickets were piled by the new release section

This also depends on if the particular Best Buy store didn't pull the tickets off the shelves. I know a few stores in the St. Louis, MO area have. However, I picked up two from the Mid-Rivers Mall location earlier today.

And from the other topic, the movie cash is good for up to $10. Not a bad deal.

Tips/tricks:
You can usually use these for tickets for a future date, even past the expiration date.
And once you have the actual ticket for 21, you can often trade it for a better movie.

Just ask them. Might work best if you buy the tickets days in advance and then go back to trade them at the time of your movie.
