I wanted to get a matching Sony stand for my kdl-52w3000, but the only one that Sony offers is that terrible shiny piano black one that's supposed to match the XBR4's. It's $400 and I'm not paying that much for one that doesn't match. My tv has the nice gun metal finish on it. I can't find one that matches.

I have alot of components that need to go in the cabinet so it can be taller than the average stand/cabinet but not much wider than the tv. Also it can be a light to medium oak since I have oak cabinets and bookshelves throughout my living room.

Please help!

Buy some Oak and go into your garage and make one.. one that fits all your equipment. That is what did. I included a "hole" for my sub to fit in so it sits on the floor and doesnt touch the stand.
