I think I have a pretty good idea who is leaving the show tonight.

Glad to see it back.

Well, it can't go anywhere but up based on the last few episodes. Although Lana becoming catatonic was pretty sweet.

Halfway through and pretty good. Lex has finally crossed fully to the dark side. But Jimmy's talent sure provided a convenient plot twist...

WOW. I'd say that is the best episode of Smallville ever, and I'm not exaggerating. Very dramatic, it made a lot of headway going away from the "Smallville" era towards the "Superman" era. I liked the ending especially
Spoiler:
with Clark showing up at Lionel's funeral, it took you back a couple seasons to Jonathon's funeral. I'm curious as to see who that guy was who killed Lex's assistant, and who he's working for. Maybe an ally of Oliver Queen, Tieg family, or Virgil Swan? Lex at the fortress should be interesting.

Does anyone know for sure if this is the last season? Maybe they will continue for a season or two with Kara as the main character? I could watch 7 more seasons of Laura Vandervoort!

Great episode!

Lex is finally an absolute evil son of a bitch.

Of course Lex had the assistant whacked, but prematurely. Doh! Then again, you know whenever someone finds out Clark's secret, they either die, or go wacky and become an unreliable witness.

They should put in the part where Lex throws his good conscience/kid into the fire into the opening credits montage.

Yeah, I'm sure he's not done yet. What's next: he rips off Chloe's head?

Best episode of the series, period. Did they forget this wasn't a season finale Why cant they do this every week? Its unbelievable the same show can produce this, and Stride in the same season.

I was just like "whoa" through the entire episode! Wow, wow, WOW! Okay were do they go from here? If this is the start of a long rollercoaster ride that continues like this through to next season's series finale, I am totally stoked. Wheeeeeeeee!

Great episode indeed. I particularly liked the payoff of Lex's jealousy of Clark being the perfect son to several father figures finally came to blows. Sure it took several seasons to develop and for the final falling out to happen, but it was worth it and well done.

I didn't expect Lionel to go out like that, it was like they went something more operatic than dramatic. That and it leaves a bit of evidence of who was responsible...

Very good episode... Not exactly sure how they're going to drag this out for another season, though, without breaking their (at this point retarded and embarrassing) "No flights, no tights" rule.

Way to go Chloe - you can hack the fucking matrix but you can't palm a key without anyone seeing it?

I kept expecting Lionel to come back to life somehow. I wonder what could control Clark? And could it also control the cousin or Brainiac?

Did anybody in Boston have problems with the audio?
