Who's easier to deal with for my problem - DeepDiscount or Barnes/Noble?

OK, I snagged the X-Files Complete Collector's Edition last fall from both these places - initially got the one for me, then got the other to complete a BOGO hot deal (where I was getting Stargate Complete). I sold one, kept one. The one I kept, I just started watching. I'm finding problems on some of the discs, they keep freezing mid-episode.

So given the timeframe etc., is there a chance I can sweet talk my way into a swap? Which place would be more likely to help me out? Thanks.

I agree - BN - as you can walk into the store and explain it instead of over the phone and then ship it and hope it gets there - though the gas to the store will probably be more than shipping it.

Seeing as how it has been 3 or 4 month, I would be surprised if either would
do an exchange or refund..You could try contacting the manufacturer..

I'd be interested in knowing whether you get any satisfaction or not. Keep us posted!
