Only about as real as Koei releasing another Dynasty Warriors game. Or Konami releasing another Pro Evolution Soccer.

If you go to the Community tab on the Rock Band main menu, the message at the top is an announcement of Rock Band Kart 2008.

At least each of the Tom Clancy series are different from one another.

Splinter Cell is stealth.

Rainbow Six is close-quarters SWAT-like.

Ghost Recon is special forces military style.

The upcoming EndWar is RTS.

The Madden games don't have nearly that much diversity....

I'm surprised they don't have a straight up FPS... yet.

Wow these april fool's day jokes have come a long way. A lot of them have a lot of production value going into them. Assassin's Creed solid? Do Konami and Ubisoft usually collaborate on things? And the Legend of Zelda trailer? they had to do some CGI and probably hire actors and such. Came a long way from the old days.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to play as sonic in super smash bros.

Man, that Zelda one actually looks kind of amazing for an April Fool's joke. Wonder how much they paid to have that put together?
