As thump-thump-thump-thump AAAARRRGGGHHHH!! metal goes, it's not too bad. At least it has a real solo.

I'm a BIG fan of DevilDriver. I picked up the first album, since I was a Coal Chamber fan, and it kicked my ass. Second album came around and it rocked even harder! Their latest is a total aural assault. I listen to them when I'm at the gym to get me "in the zone". Fucking powerfully brutal metal. They also put on a helluva live show. They aren't the most technical band out there, but it's good for just plain old ass-kicking old school metalheads.

I'm a fan of their newest album, but i'm kind of biased towards All That Remains

I like them quite a bit, and they put on a pretty good live show. I'm glad Coal Chamber fell apart, since Dez is putting out better music with Devildriver.

Everytime I want to check out this band, I remember Coal Chamber and laugh at the memories of the cookie monster vocals, the silly 'Loco" video, and the creation of the genre 'spookycore'. When all is done, I politely refrain.
