DALLAS FANS: I received an email a few days ago offering season tickets to Superpages.com Center (formally Smirnoff, formally Starplex). It states:

Over 30 shows are scheduled or pending for the 2008 season including Rush, Radiohead, The Police, Steve Miller Band, Chicago, Doobie Bros., Boston, Toby Keith, Santana, and Pearl Jam!
Since Dallas wasn't in the first leg, I'm assuming it's still "pending."

But there's HOPE!

I can't believe Columbia is getting a concert, over Charlotte, Greenville, and Asheville. I would recommend staying at the Hampton Inn on Gervais. Walking distance to the Colonial Center, plus several places to prepare for the show, Flying Saucer being one of them. Also don't miss Hunter Gatherer. Their ESB is worth the trip to Columbia, alone. Spend your tourism dollars in Columbia. We need it.

I was at the StoryTellers taping for VH1 last summer in NYC and it was amazing! Then I saw them again 2 days later at MSG. I am thinking about trying another venue out this time, maybe something more close by like..Verizon Center? I am so stoked they are bringing back a few shows this time around too!

Are you sure it was them at MSG? Because they haven't played there since about 3 years prior to the StoryTellers taping.

The people at the Pearl Jam forum are impossible to deal with, but surely I can't be the only one who finds it disappointing that the MSG tickets in 2003 were $86 for a pair and five years later they've nearly doubled, to $168.

$83 seems awfully high for a single ticket. I could see $55-$60. Pearl Jam fans are nuts, though.

I bought the Into The Wild vinyl from their site a while back and when it came I opened it to check out the artwork. Then, I stuck it on my shelf and forgot about it. Then, last week I found out it's selling for $175 on Ebay! WTF? And the damn posters...gheez, it's like impossible to get them.

In fact, $186 isn't too bad for 2 tickets, since you can buy 2 posters and sell them for $200 each the day after the show on Ebay.

Looks like I'm traveling to Florida for a vacation/concert. Any thoughts on WPB versus Tampa? Need to decide ASAP.

Sadly, I'll have to rely on the tapers for this tour, unless it hits the midwest.
