Will we ever have a "Spring Break?"

This 1983 comedy is long overdue for a DVD release. It's much better than some of the crap being released today.

Cheap Trick performed the title track, but they've told me they hate the song. I actually think it's one of their better ones! And there were 2 versions of the music video (which would make excelent extras on the DVD if it ever gets released): one with nude women swimming/in the tub/etc., one where the ladies are in bikinis.

I fondly remember Spring Break as the "most fun" of the 80's teen sex comedies. And not only is the title song great, but the whole soundtrack is a great party album (I'll have to dig my vinyl out of storage).

This is just one of many VHS only titles that may never see the light of day on DvD!

You are thinking of UP THE CREEK.

Cheap Trick did perform the song for Spring Break, but you are correct about the video. It was for Up The Creek, that there was two versions of the song.

You're right; I was wrong about the videos (OOPS!). But CT did perform both title tracks.

No kidding! I've been long awaiting this title to come out on DVD, especially in light of stuff that actually has been released. Without a doubt, one of my fave 80's comedies. The soundtrack's great, too.
