American Idol, Final 11 (March 18/19)
Two hour performance of the final 11 tonight, 7pm CDT / 8pm EST. Results show will be on Wednesday, 8pm CDT / 9pm EST.
So, who do you think will go home after tonight's performance? This isn't a poll of who you want to go home, it's a poll of who you think should go gome. With that in mind, and since there are 11 contestants but only 10 poll slots, I've left off David Archuleta who has no chance of being voted off this week.
Votes are public, usernames as well as who they voted for will be shown, and the vote will be open for two days from the time I post this.
And in case you hadn't heard, it's another Beatles week... err, sorry, Lennon / McCartney week.

In MSNBC’s poll which asked “Who is your favorite of the final 12 on ‘American Idol’”, after over 41,000 responses, David Archuleta has 34% of the vote. The second and third place vote-getters are David Cook at 12% and Brooke White at 11%. Archuleta will not be voted off this week, or next week, or the week after that. I don’t see him as being in danger until maybe the Top 4, definitely by the Top 3. That being said, sure, he’ll be in the poll next week.
Back to the MSNBC poll, after 25,000 votes David Archuleta had 40% of the vote and both Cook and White were around 8% to 9%. So yes, Archuleta is definitely trending downwards after last week and Cook / White are trending upwards. Are Cook / White in danger of being voted off this week? Of course not, and neither are Michael Johns and Carly Smithson.
Speaking of Amanda, how has she made it this far? I just don't get it.

I'd personally love to see David Archuleta kicked off. However, I feel that it will be KLC. David Cook has become my front runner. His pitch problems are easily fixed in the studio.

I voted for Syesha as well... The public just doesnt seem to like her too much and the fact that its Beatles again doesnt bode well for he style. As long as KLC doesnt do another horrible bluegrass rendition, I think she will be safe.
And this is why I have a hard time rooting for him... Ive honestly enjoyed the majority of his performances, but damn he just seems like the biggest assbag.

There are 3 or 4 names in danger that need to have a great week, with huge praises from the judges, to make it into the top 10 and the AI tour. Ramiele, Syesha, KLC, and Amanda. I think the rest are pretty much safe.

They make such a big deal about EVERYTHING. American Idol is the king of overhype.
I'd like to see Syesha go home this week. She bores me. At least Kristy Lee Cook is hot and Amanda is good entertainment because she's so bad.

The funny thing about Syesha is that she would have shined during a Diana Ross week (Week 12 last year was Diana Ross). I still like her, but for some reason she's just not really connecting with the audience.
I *ahem* will wait until after tonight to make my prediction, but it will be either KLC, Syesha Mercado, Ramiele Malubay, or Chikezie. Heck, I'll make the prediction right now that three of these four will be the bottom three tomorrow night.

The thing about Brooke White is that even though she does some highly recognizable songs, she has such a distinct sound to her voice that you can identify it is her. Its very much a clear sound, but has somewhat of a twang to it. Hard to explain. I just listen to the clips again on Itunes and she is so recognizable. Its easier to judge the songs by listening and not watching performances. Chikezie was really good last week, but without watching the performance and just listening to it there was nothing that makes it stand out to make it his own.
