I'm Not There - May 6th

Got this from DVDactive. Been waiting for this one!

Genius Products and The Weinsten Company has announced I'm Not There in which six characters embody a different aspect of Bob Dylan's life and work. The 2-disc collector's edition will be available to own from the 6th May, and should retail at around $28.95. Extras will include an audio commentary (participants to be confirmed), deleted scenes, featurettes, a music video, audition tapes, a gag reel, a Bob Dylan filmography and discography, and more. We've attached the official package artwork below:

I'm glad to see it's actually getting a decent release the first time around. It's a strange film, in my opinion, but one I most definitely want to own.

About time...my favorite film of last year.

Cover art

Nice of them to use the poster art, although I wish it wasn't so cluttered up with text.

I'm sure I'll rent it. I've liked the Todd Haynes films I've seen.

Blind buy for me, this still hasn't made it to New Zealand and extras sound great.

It's from The Weinstein Company, so probably not. They haven't released anything on either HDM format for several months. Then again, they could announce something between now and then, so we'll see.

Yea, it could do without the quote and the Academy sticker. It could've been a very nice cover.

Anyway, anyone know if there are any store exclusives?

Wait... the audio really IS 2.0?!

Wow. And I thought INT was one of those films that made beautiful use of all the speakers when I went to go see it.
