actually, those are pretty good prices compared to other B&Ms, at least on Gattaca and NCfOM.

First thing I thought when I read those prices.

NCfOM is $25 at Wal-Mart.

well, notice i didn't say every other B&M. it's certainly cheaper than Best Buy (who sells more Blu-ray discs than anyone else) and Circuit City.

Yikes! I'll wait for the BOGOs in 2-3 months. There's no way I can afford these Blu-ray prices with my meager retirement pay. I guess some of you guys are making pretty good wages at your executive jobs.

My upper spending limit on BDs is around $16/title (must absolutely love the film in question), but I still shoot for $10-$12 at most for BD purchases, so I do a lot of waiting and pouncing when deals (now few and far between) show up. I don't ever buy the BDs when they are first released, mainly because I will have seen most of the films theatrically, so I only buy BDs at the lower end of my purchasing pain threshhold when possible for films I want in the collection.

Why don't we just start a thread with Walmart prices because those prices are lower then these.
