Thanks OP. I have never been a big fan of used media although everything I've ever bought used has worked perfectly so I'm coming around. Decided to pick up Call of Duty 4, Condemned and Dead Rising all for the 360 at pretty reasonable prices. After 7% sales tax, all 3 for under $75.

they will charge your credit card cuz they wouldn't have received your trade-ins yet...and watch out cuz secondspin.com's trade-in process is TERRIBLE...had sooo many perfect (even previously sealed) discs rejected..i would just go trade in at FYE and use the credit. If you're worried about losing your cart items, there's a simple solution. Get the firefox extension "reloadevery" and have the cart page reload every 15 mins or so. Cuz it expires after 90 minutes. I have tested this theory and it works perfectly :-D

They should have the same ones. A trick I use, is going to the product page on warehouse.com, and in the url replace the words "warehouse" with "secondspin". It'll take you to the page on secondspin with the correct amount of items available. Hope that helps.

They still have a bunch left if anyone wants to take a chance at getting the complete set. This artbox is different than most. You can't see the volumes when it's closed. So it's possible for others to get the same deal (steal) I did.

Funny thing, it happened to me too when I ordered Gankutsuou Vol. 1 w/ box. They shipped the whole series with it, all six volumes. I think what happens is that people trade in the entire collection but when secondspin scans the barcode on the box it only shows up as "Vol w/ box" and not "Complete Series Boxset" (since that has a different barcode) even though all the volumes are there. Or they wanted to save space and put the volumes in the box thinking it was the same with or without them.

^^I received Call of Duty 4 a few days ago and after many, many attempts, it just wouldn't load. The case and the back of the disc appear to be in great shape but my 360 either wouldn't recognize it or would recognize it as a DVD (a screen pops up saying, "Please insert this disc in an Xbox 360 to play it.) The other games I got from them work beautifully, though.

I sent them an email about it and within hours I received an email saying they were mailing another copy free of charge and the next day it shipped. As a first time customer, I wasn't too happy about my situation but I must say their customer service was great. Of course, I'm assuming this second copy will actually work. Still not quite sure what to do with my first copy seeing how they don't want it back.

I ordered Kickboxer OOP edition and the disc inside was the full frame lions gate version. They simply told me to keep the disc and refunded me straight away. Probably the best customer service I have known.

Well, I received this order today. Extremely pleased with the X2 Steelbook and Chasing Amy, not so much with everything else. The insert for the cover for Do The Right Thing was beat up and the discs are far from pristine condition. The discs on Armageddon are scratched. The Day After Tomorrow Steelbook is literally bent at the bottom, leading the the metal bowing out extremely on the bottom,and the DVD not sitting on my shelf right. Hopefully I can fix that, and I'm sure the DVDs that are scratched will play, but it's just frustrating.

Yeah, I was less than pleased with the condition of a few of my discs. For example, I received a copy of Sarah Silverman's Jesus is Magic in which the disc looked decent, but the cover art had been stuffed into a slimline case and shoddily folded over to get it to fit. I wasn't expecting the cases to be perfect, but I'd expected them to at least be the proper style and size.

I made several orders during this sale and have received them all at this point. I had 2 CDs that were unplayable in my desktop or laptop (they've since shipped out replacements, but I have yet to receive). I also had one that had the correct bonus DVD but had the wrong CD (in place was a promotional DVD from Victory Records) and yet another one (Born to Run 30th Anniversary) missing a DVD altogether. Waiting for my replacements to arrive so I can e-mail one last time (hopefully) about Born to Run. Kind of got a sour taste in my mouth about buying used media now.

This has happened to me before. The issue is that they have multiple websites serving up the same stock (wherehouse, secondspin, amazonmarketplace), and they aren't always in sync. When they go to box up your order, someone else has already grabbed it, so they will refund you your cost and a porition of the shipping (if there were other items in the order that did ship).
