Past movie deals at Safeway had them award you the tickets on the spot when you made the purchase, although you did need to go to customer service to get them.

Went after work and picked up $30+ of qualifying frozen foods. The cashier said "You got free movie tickets", reached under her money tray and handed them to me. Great deal! If I have enough space in my freezer, I may do it again before the end of the month. :)
