I posted a so-so deal and even said as much in my post and you'd think I'd dump a truckload of dead baby seals on their lawns. Instead of just ignoring it, they went berserk and got quite insulting.

Anytime you say "Welcome to ____ days/weeks/years ago" then it is normal for people to take that with a hint of ass attached to it. I'm not sure if Gizmo really intended this so I can't really say.
