These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. I was at Suncoast(FYE Store) last night (Pre ordered Beowulf SteelBook for $3 and Sweeney Todd Steelbook for $5). At the door they had it advertised, its got a slighly diffrent cover remenesant to their exclusive Vacancy 2 Disc they had preveously. I should of pre-ordered also but I didnt, Ill pick it up when I'll pick up Beowulf.

Sorry I dont have more info on it.

FYE has a sampler disc of In Treatment S1 (episodes 1-5) for .01 cent with the purchase of any HBO Show .
I got one with a regular purchase so it's a YMMV kind of deal I guess.

As far as I know Beowulf Steelbook is 1 disc and Sweeny Todd Steelbook is 2 disc.

I just picked it up. It says "Exclusive 2-Disc Limited Edition Set" with the theatrical poster (the vampire screaming with head tilted back). It includes a bonus disc in a separate slimmer case. This case and the regular DVD case fit together in the box.

Just came back from my DVD run. I can confirm that the 2-Disc Special Edition of Beowulf that BEST BUY had advertised was a misprint.

Best Buy:

Back from DVD crawl.

Should anybody want it; the link to the Circuit City exclusive for "Beowulf". No password needed. Both clips are in FLV; found the addresses and am downloading them - 22.6 and 26.3 megabytes. And their exclusive for
30 Days Of Night (also no password).

The Futureshop steelbook is not exactly like the TWEC.. It has French under the title whereas the TWEC does not. For you completest out there..

thats a crappy exclusive ug.

but no slipcovers seen. i was hoping for one at tarjay along with the comic, since they love slapping slips on dvds and calling them "deluxe" or whatever, but i couldnt even get that. these retailers are getting cheap lol.

how do you download these?

what are these "exclusive" games anyway? do they suck?
