Free-spirit movies

What are some movies where the people are free spirits, aka takes no shit from no one?? These are good inspirational ones too...

Easy Rider - all against the man

Scarface - especially the scene where he's in the restaurant saying how everyone else is afraid to be what they want to be.

Recently, Into the Wild. Others I can think of are Harvey, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, & Whale Rider. And of course, Ghostbusters.

I haven't seen the movie, but wasn't Geena Davis' character in The Accidental Tourist kind of a free spirit? I know she won an Oscar for the role.

I tried watching that I Heart Huckabees movie and thought it was just a little too "free spirit" for me...

The mention of "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" made me think of the other two movies in the '70s free spirit car trilogy, "Vanishing Point" and "Two-Lane Blacktop."

Just about any Wes Anderson movie has a free spirit or two.

Almost every Hal Ashby movie should be listed, I immediately thought of Harold & Maude, but also The Last Detail.

How about, Breezy, Bringing Up Baby, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Birdy,

Friday the 13th: parts 3-7. That Jason, just hanging out in the woods, hunting, being with nature, and then those damn kids have to come up and rain on his parade. He certainly takes no shit and he lived without any worldy possessions. Well, aside from a machete.

My pick would have been Vanishing Point, but someone said that already.

I think "Vanishing Point" is an easy pick, just because any movie that requires a spoiler alert if you reveal just how far the character is willing to go to prove he or she is a free spirit is definitely a movie about a free spirit.
