Need a UPC for rebate but threw away the box...

Do I have any options? It was for a $100 certificate for NFL.com... I bought the Samsung 4661 from Amazon... rebate needs to be postmarked by 3/3.

Really bummed.

Go to stores w/ display models and see if they still have the box. Explain your story (you bought your's at their store hopefully), cry a bit as you tell the story, bring your children dressed in ratty clothes with ashen faces, be on crutches when you walk in.

Buy another one and then return it without the box.

That actually might not be a bad idea.

If you decide that the freebies are worth more than the 15% fee they might charge for returning incomplete items.

And if you can determine they will charge the 15% if the item is not compete, go ahead and keep the extra remote/whatever as well, get your 15%'s worth.

Oh wait, re-reading your original post, I see that you need the UPC for a $100 certificate at nfl.com.

Given their jacked up prices, I'd say that certificate is only worth about $10.

Sigh... well, it would've been nice to have a couple of Seahawks shirts. I'll have to chalk this one up as a lesson learned.
